appearance:[/blockquote]FACE
Florence has quite a square face with rounded features, somewhat of a contrast and it is often questioned as it whether or not it all fits. Florence does not have one of the most striking or prettiest faces known to man, and with her many flaws: bad skin, crooked teeth etc, she is far from perfect. Just like her mother Florence has large, round brown eyes that are really nothing more than that, they are just eyes. Her nose is small and rounded, cute and 'squidgy' as well meaning that it is soft and a lot of fun to poke. Lips next, her bottom lip is fuller than her top lip and they are a dusty pink colour and are normally dry and chapped. Hidden behind her lips are some very large teeth which have become discoloured by her alcohol and smoking, needless to say they are not someting Florence likes to flaunt.HAIR
Florence likes to keep her hair long, wavy and scruffy. She doesn't enjoy playing her hair as some girls do, if she had half the chance she would probably shave it all off because it causes her so much hassle. Florence has kept her natural hair colour and has never once touch hair dye and so her hair remains the colour she was born with: dark brown. It's been a while since Florence had a hair cut so it now falls well past her shoulders and her layers have long since grown out. She once adopted a side fringe but she now pushes that to the side. Florence quite likes her hair, even though she doesn't care for it much as she doesn't see the point, she keeps it clean and brushes it (occasionally) and that is all she really needs to do, she has no time to use all those silly products.BODY
Petite is the word one would use when describing Florence's body for she has always been small in shape and in size. She stands at five foot four, a little under average and therefore finds that most tower over her. As for her figure Florence has never been very curvy, she's got more of a straight down boyish figure than anything else with small boobs and no hips. She has always been skinny, ever since she was young, as she has a fast metabolism and she has always been a little underweight but that is just how she is, definitely not self inflicted as Florence eats like a horse.

personality summary:INSANE
There is nothing remotely sane about Florence Alexander, for she in most decidedly insane. There is nothing about her character that makes much sense and she is so off the wall that one wonders if she ever were on it. Florence has never been able to sit still, she cannot concentrate and she is constantly talking. It is also debatable as to whether Florence has DID as she displays different mannerisms and ideas as well as violent mood swings, however she has never be diagnosed and those who know her put these sort of things down to the fact that she completely eccentric and one of a kind. One never knows what to expect with Florence, she can be a handful and a lot to deal with and it can be a difficult experience being her friend. Florence wants to see, touch, smell, hear, know everything and is so easily distracted that is a task to hold her attention for more than a short moment. Florence enjoys being different and there has never been any time in her life where she has tried to conform or suppress her feelings, Florence likes weird things, she says and does strange things - but that is all she will ever be.FREE SPIRIT
Florence was very lucky to have such a laid back up bringing, her mother was a young bohemian who never believed in rules and would die before forcing her children to conform with the norm, her father was a drug addict musician who cared little for rules. Throughout her childhood and teenage she was encourage to be who she wanted to be, there were no rules and the she was allowed to run wild. Anarchy was a way of life for Florence and she never understood why there was so much stigma attached to the way she was brought up. Florence is incredibly laid back, nothing fazes her and she lives her life the way she wants. She dances in the rain, attends hippie gatherings, sleeps under the stars and smokes weed. She loves life to the full, and mainly because she is living by her rules.INTELLIGENT
Contrary to popular belief Florence Paxton Alexander does have a brain, it is all a question of whether she wishes to use it or not. Florence is good with numbers, she has a large vocabulary (something she likes to show off when drunk) and has a good understanding of current affairs. Unfortunately Florence rarely uses these to her advantage as she can become quickly bored with a subject. At school her main problem was that she would finish the work before the others and would have a hard time keeping quiet while the other children finished, instead of praising her the teachers would end up telling her off for being a nuisance, in the end Florence saw no point in working and gave up. Report cards rarely reflected her natural aptitude and most just had Florence written off as a disturbance to the classroom. But with a good memory Florence was able to hear something once and remember it and therefore excelling exams, but also finding it an incredible bore when teachers repeated themselves. Florence found teaching herself everything was a much better going to school to learn. But with a concentration span it was unlikely to get Florence to knuckle down for more than time minutes, even when she was teaching herself.WILD CHILD
Florence's wild side is well known with friends and family, she had always been a bit of a rebel but when Ian started imposing rules that Florence went more and more out of her way to break them and started to worry people. Ever since Florence has partied all night, broken every rule in the book and meddled in drugs, and she doesn't care who she worries or hurts in the making. She cares about nothing or no one and is only concerned with having fun. She does view her erratic behaviour as anything bad, rather something to been proud of. She is under the belief that is living life to the full, the best way possible, and there is little one can do to make her see reason. People how much longer Florence can keep up with this attitude but now her parents have no idea where she is is she her own boss and is becoming more wild as she takes control of her own life and lets go of the reigns.IMMATURE
Florence is still a child, she has only just left school and doesn't know what she wants to do with her life. She is under the naive impression that everything will work itself with the least bit of input from herself. She is still very much dependant on the people around her and cannot care for herself without instruction and she is downright lazy. Her outlook on life is one that a child might have where every thing still amazes her and she is in awe of the silliest things. There is not a grown up bone in her body and she cannot act like a mature adult. She sees no point in growing up, and avoids anything slightly mature at all costs. She is able to deal with responsibility and is unaware of the affect her actions will have on people. The lines between right and wrong are still blurred and she has a childlike selfishness where the only thing that matter is herself. Everything about her screams childish, from her sense of humour to her inability to emphasis with others.

history summary:
Iona was sixteen when she gave birth to her first child, she was still living with her mother and father in Edinburgh, Scotland, and had been seeing her baby's father for little under a year. There was a lot of stigma attached to the relationship as Guy was thirteen years old than Iona, despite her family's intial objections they would not allow their daughter to give birth out of wedlock, and three months before Christopher Robin was born Guy and Iona married. The couple lived on a crappy estate and neither were happy, Iona was stuck home with the baby while Guy was out trying to make something of his band. The couple were rarely seen out together as Guy was embarassed and ashamed of Iona and baby Chris. Despite this two years later Iona gave birth to Florence Paxton, weighing in at seven pounds three ounces, on the twenty first of July.
Florence was a loud baby and gave her young mother a terrible time. She never stopped crying, and no matter what Iona did to soothe the child she would not be quiet and Iona found herself unable to cope with Florence. The only person Florence calmed down for was her father, who was just an infrequent visitor in the children's life by now. When Florence turned one Iona found drugs in Guy's guitar case. Now, Iona had a very laid back attitude on life, she herself had been known to puff on the green but when she found cocaine she flew off the handle. Guy promised to get clean, but Guy Alexander made a lot of promises he couldn't keep. It was several days after the birth of Florence's sister Tabitha Kasmir that Iona found Guy unconcious after a overdose on cocaine. He was rushed to hospital where he luckily pulled through and then he was packed off to rehab leaving Iona to live off benefits while she raised the children.
When it came to bringing up son and two daughters Iona never had much of an idea, and so she brought them up how she would have wanted to be brought up. There were no rules: no bedtimes, no strict dinner times, television restrictions, no curfews. People often critisiced Iona, but they could not deny that she loved her children, however difficult they were. After Guy's stint at rehab he spent a lot more time at home but did little to nothing when it came to bringing up the children. When Florence was three and a half her father went out to get some milk and didn't come back for three months, when he did return it was obvious he was high. Iona was determined to stand by her man and she tried to persuade him to get help but he never listened. After a year and a half of pure hell Guy ODed, but this time he died.
Admitting defeat Iona packed up and moved back into her parents house with the children. Chris, Flossie and Tabby - known as the three musketeers - absolutely hated it, their grandparents were awfully strict and it smelt funny. Luckily they weren't there long and after several months they moved in with Iona's new boyfriend Uncle Tony. At this time Florence had started school, but it was evident from day one that she wasn't suited to the education system, although a bright child she wasn't given the support she needed and would often loose concentration. Throughout her primary school life her mother was moving the children from one boyfriend's home to the next and Florence never spent longer than a year at a certain school.
When she was eight her mother had a messy break up and was left with no where to live, she brought a tiny flat and would normally leave the children alone at night while she went out and got drunk. One night she met an American man at a bar, she brought him home and he didn't leave for a year. His name was Ian and he was an accountant from California, he was living in England for a couple of years for business and he was the nicest boyfriend Iona ever had - atleast that was Chris' and Tabby's opinion of him, Florence took an instant dislike to him. After a year with Iona he was forced to return to the states and when he was gone Iona fell to pieces. Worried about their mother Chris and Tabby had an idea about writting to Ian, when they finally coaxed Flossie into the idea they mailed a letter to Ian telling him how awfully sad their mum was. Ian's reply was to send four plane tickets to America. Florence was approaching her tenth birthday at the time.
Once in America they moved in with Ian and his twin daughters, Abigale and Sophie, who were the same age as Chris. Her brother and sister settled in quickly and when Iona was around Ian she completely changed, she was grown up and sensible. Florence couldn't deal with all these changes and so started acting out. When her hald sister Emerson Ivy was born Florence ran away from home, however after one night she realised she had no where to run to and had to return home. At school she fell into the wrong crowd, at least the wrongest crowd there could be at elementry school. When she got to middle school she started hanging out with high school kids and discovered alcohol. When Iona and Ian announced there engagement (four years after the birth of Emerson) Florence's reaction was to go out and get rip roaring drunk. The couple married when Florence was fifteen and again Florence got extremely drunk and was discovered by her brother having sex with Abigale's boyfriend. By this time Florence had grown distant from her entire family and longed for the day when she could escape. At seventeen she was accepted at a university in conneticut and told Iona and Ian that she was going to accept the place. Florence had no intention of doing so and moved into a friends place in New York where she has been living ever since, while her parents still believe she studying drama.

It wasn’t often that girls like Megan came along, and it was even rarer for them to accept a date with Heath. Was this even a date? Heath wondered if Meg just thought this was a dinner for friends, what a kick in the teeth if she did. Maybe it was his fault, maybe his messages weren't ‘it’s a date’ enough. Should he text her back and say ‘okay, it’s a date’? He picked up his phone and typed the message, he stared at the four words for several minutes before pressing send. Two seconds later a message flashed on the screen informing Heath he did not have the funds to send the message, damn those pay as you go phones, he needed a contract. He sat there turning his phone over in his hands, even if she did think it was just a friendly affair it didn’t matter too much, he still got to see her and they still got to eat together. But he hoped she realised he didn’t want to be her friend, he wanted something a little bit more. From the moment he saw her, sorry to sound clichéd, he knew she was something that little bit special, he was just drawn to her, and he hadn’t known her that long!
Placing his phone back on the coffee table he took a quick glance at the clock, only to find it was seven thirty. He nearly screamed, he was going to be late for his date/friendly dinner with Megan, then she was going to think he was some lazy idiot who couldn’t tell the time, even worse she might think he had stood her up and left. Knowing he could not have let that happen he nearly sprinted for the shower and was in and out in five minuets. Ruffling his hair dry with a towel he went about finding something to wear, Heath knew that he was known for being scruffy because he never really cared what he threw on but tonight he wanted to make an impression so he was going to put some effort into his appearance. He dragged some smart black trousers, a white shirt and a black jacket from his wardrobe and laid them out on his bed. Throwing on some clean boxers he ran a hand over his chin, he didn’t really need to shave so he could save some time. He pulled on the clothes, by which time his hair was somewhat dry and in it’s natural messy state. He went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and tried to style his hair, but gave up when it wouldn’t co-operate. Fixing his watch on he noticed it was seven forty five, he needed to get a move on, he jogged into his living room and filled his pockets with the necessities and then went about trying to find some shoes. As he rifled through his many trainers he realised he had no smart shoes, but with the clock ticking he grabbed the first pair of black trainers he could find and was off out of the door and down to his car.
Jumping in he turned on the engine and the radio came on, as well as the digital clock which told him it was seven fifty one. Cursing under his breath he backed out and set off for the restaurant Wildfish. Luckily the journey from his apartment to the restaurant was not a long one and he pulled up outside at one minute past eight, feeling quite impressed with himself he parked up and made his way into the place.
A waitress almost ran at him as he came through the doors, the place was pretty busy but he could easily tell that Megan had yet to arrive, thank heavens. Unless of course she thought being one minute late was not acceptable and had left, which Heath highly doubted. Heath asked the waitress for a table of two and she happily obliged showing him to a table near the back and in the corner. He took a seat as the waitress handed him his menu and offered him a drink, “no thanks,” he said taking the menu from her hand, as she turned to leave he called her back, ”wait, erm, yes sorry, if a erm Megan Callahan shows up could you please tell her where I am, I meeting her for a date, kind of. She’s got long dark hair and is very pretty, so yes, if you could let her know where I am sitting when she arrives.” Heath smiled and just as the waitress went to turn away again he had another thought, ”could I get a bottle of champagne please?” He asked, the waitress nodded and smiled but paused before she left, obviously thinking he was going to call her back again.
The champagne arrived with two glasses, now all Heath had to do was wait for Meg to arrive.
